This coming weekend I will be making a one-off return to the F2000 Championship Series piloting the #37 Bruce Work entered Ralph Firman Racing chassis. It will be great to make a cameo appearance in the Pro Series after taking some time off. I have had the chance to do some testing with some teams in the off season as well as run a SCCA Major event. I’m not predicting world domination, but I do have a history of solid performance at Mid Ohio. With a few new parts on the car to try as well as a pretty solid level of fitness on my behalf I think a top 5 is not out of the question. As is always the case, minimizing distractions and focusing on the job at hand will be the biggest challenge. I’m looking forward to to seeing a bunch of friends. Make sure you keep and eye out for my friends and fellow competitors Matt Machiko from Allison Park, Pa and Joe Selmants who is piloting my old ’99 Van Diemen. Matt, Joe, and I will all be under the tutelage of the enigmatic John Walko and I expect good things as a result.
