For you Umphrey’s McGee fans there is a good chance you are missing out on the official Umphrey’s podcast. The recordings feature a host of sounds from UM’s latest shows. This includes a samples of originals as well as covers. For example, in the latest show they tossed in some Talking Heads. Consider me sold!

The podcasts vary in length as well as release date. As far as I can tell they produce a new one every two weeks to one month. I suppose it depends on their touring schedule. The podcast dishes out quality Umphrey’s jams from start to finish. No talking required. So if you’re in search of some good vibes they might be found in this uncanny place.

The podcasts are available free of charge in the iTunes Store or if you prefer direct download you can simply retrieve the podcasts in mp3 format over at the Umphrey’s website. The only downside I can see is that the podcasts are in 128kbps. Audiophiles out there know what I’m talking about. Listen on.
