Ultrasonic Carburetor Cleaning

$30.00

Description

This is the cheapest ultrasonic carburetor cleaning service on the web, but we do not skimp on quality!

Ultrasonic carburetor cleaning is the best way to thoroughly clean your carburetors inside and out. Whether your carburetors have just sat a long time, building up dirt and grime, or whether they have accumulated lots of residues left behind today’s dirty fuels, ultrasonic cleaning remains the best method for decontaminating carburetors.

Your carburetors will get clean in an industrial grade ultrasonic machine using safe, non caustic, environmentally safe solutions that will leave your carburetors clean as a whistle. The cleaning solution is heated to over 150 degrees Fahrenheit, the carburetors are completely submersed, and then left to for a minimum of 30 minutes. As a result, gunk, grime, and deposits will be virtually removed. This process if far superior to conventional cleaning with carburetor sprays or compressed air methods.

Pricing

Pricing is per carburetor. 1 Carb = $30, 2 Carbs = $60, etc.

How to Send Them

The carburetors must be disassembled completely! Remove the float bowl, the floats, the needle valve, all jets, the slide, the needle, and any other parts that may be removed from the carburetor body. Place all of these items in a zip lock bag, box them up, and ship them. We do not disassemble carburetors for fear of damaging screws, jets, or other pieces. The ultrasonic tank we use is large, but not large enough to do banks of carbs assembled. Please break carbs down into individuals, then bag them each individually as to keep parts nicely organized.

More On The Ultrasonic Process (source:Wikipedia)

“Ultrasonic cleaning uses cavitation bubbles induced by high frequency pressure (sound) waves to agitate a liquid. The agitation produces high forces on contaminants adhering to substrates like metals, plastics, glass, rubber, and ceramics. This action also penetrates blind holes, cracks, and recesses. The intention is to thoroughly remove all traces of contamination tightly adhering or embedded onto solid surfaces.”

About Our Process

Before ultrasonic cleaning your carburetor is dipped in an environmentally friendly cleaning solution that is used to loosen and remove large debris. This dipping process lasts for 24 hours, but may be longer if needed. After the dipping stages, the carburetors are then moved into the ultrasonic tank where the carbs get their final cleaning. This cleaning process heats the carburetors to over 150 degrees Fahrenheit and lasts for a minimum of 30 minutes. The process is repeated until the carbs reach a satisfactory level.

Important!!!

Our process uses a cleaning solution that is safe on rubber, plastics, brass, aluminum and more. However, gaskets, o-rings, and other items may get damaged during ultrasonic cleaning. We are NOT responsible for damage to these parts. It is strongly recommended that you apply a full carburetor rebuild kit after ultrasonic cleaning.
